Primary Indications

Indicated for the treatment of infections caused by susceptible strains of the following organisms:

Otitis media, lower respiratory tract infections (including pneumonia), upper respiratory tract infections (including pharyngitis and tonsillitis), urinary tract infections (including pyelonephritis and cystitis), skin and skin structure infections, sinusitis, gonococcal urethritis.

Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to cephalosporin antibiotics.
