The telmisartan and amlodipine tablets are a compound formulation composed of telmisartan and amlodipine. Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor antagonist, and amlodipine is a dihydropyridine-type calcium channel blocker.

Major Contraindications

• Known hypersensitivity to telmisartan, amlodipine, or any excipient of this product
• Hypersensitivity to dihydropyridine derivatives
• Second and third trimesters of pregnancy
• Breastfeeding period
• Obstructive biliary disorders
• Severe hepatic impairment
• Severe hypotension
• Shock (including cardiogenic shock)
• Left ventricular outflow tract obstruction (e.g., severe aortic stenosis)
• Hemodynamically unstable heart failure following acute myocardial infarction
• Concomitant use with aliskiren in patients with diabetes or renal impairment (GFR < 60 ml/min/1.73 m²)
