Cefazolin Sodium for Injection is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic possessing both antibacterial and immunomodulatory effects. It is primarily indicated for the treatment of respiratory tract, urinary tract, and skin and soft tissue infections caused by susceptible organisms, as well as for the prophylaxis of surgical infections.

Primary Indications

For infections caused by susceptible organisms, such as upper and lower urinary tract infections, lower respiratory tract infections, and gonorrhoea.

The Main Contraindication To Medication

Contraindicated in patients with a history of allergy to cephalosporins.
