Santongding^® Rivaroxaban Tablets is an oral Factor Xa inhibitor that selectively blocks the active site of Factor Xa and does not require cofactors (such as antithrombin III) to exert its activity. Clinically, it is primarily used to reduce the risk of stroke and systemic embolism in patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation, treat deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE), and prevent venous thrombosis risk after orthopedic surgery.This product has passed the Generic Drug Consistency Evaluation.

Primary Indications

1. Rivaroxaban is indicated for the prevention of venous thromboembolism (VTE) in adult patients undergoing elective hip or knee replacement surgery.

2. Rivaroxaban is indicated for the treatment of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE) in adults; Rivaroxaban is indicated for the reduction in the risk of recurrence of DVT and/or PE in patients at continued risk for recurrent DVT and/or PE after completion of initial treatment lasting at least 6 months.

3. Rivaroxaban is indicated for the reduction in the risk of stroke and systemic embolism in adult patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation (NVAF) and one or more risk factors (e.g., congestive heart failure, hypertension, age ≥75 years, diabetes mellitus, or history of stroke or transient ischemic attack).

The Main Contraindication To Medication

Contraindications of Rivaroxaban:

1. Hypersensitivity to rivaroxaban or any excipients in the tablet.

2. Patients with clinically significant active bleeding.

3. Lesions or conditions at significant risk of major bleeding

4. Concomitant treatment with other anticoagulants, except: During transitions between anticoagulant therapies, or When administering unfractionated heparin (UFH) at doses necessary to maintain patency of central venous/arterial catheters.

5. Patients with hepatic disease associated with coagulopathy and clinically relevant bleeding risk, including Child-Pugh class B and C cirrhosis.

6. Pregnant or breastfeeding women (see package insert for details).
