This product is an oral antidiabetic agent belonging to the class of dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitors. It exerts its hypoglycaemic effect by inhibiting DPP-4 activity, thereby preventing the breakdown of glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) and increasing the concentration of GLP-1 in the blood.

Primary Indications

Improved glycaemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes 

The Main Contraindication To Medication

1. Patients who are allergic to any of the ingredients of this product or have a history of allergy;

2. Patients with severe ketoacidosis, diabetic coma or pre-coma, or type 1 diabetes;

3. Patients with severe infections, those before or after surgery, or those with severe trauma.
