It is a bulk-forming laxative, also known as a stool softener, clinically indicated for treating various types of constipation, such as constipation associated with irritable bowel syndrome, functional constipation, constipation due to benign anal disorders, and constipation in post-operative patients. This product has passed the national generic drug consistency evaluation.

Constipation symptoms in patients with irritable bowel syndrome (constipation-predominant)

The Main Contraindication To Medication

1. Patients with acute abdominal conditions (appendicitis, intestinal haemorrhage, ulcerative colitis).

2. Patients at risk of postoperative intestinal obstruction.

3. Patients with hypercalcaemia.

4. Patients with renal calculi.

5. Patients with renal impairment (excluding those with mild renal impairment or undergoing dialysis).

6. Individuals allergic to any component of this product.
